Loss of Park Ranger Sergio Carrasco
On the 30th of November, 2022, at approximately 20:00, Park Ranger Sergio Carrasco was pronounced deceased after being discovered entrapped inside their vehicle on Chiliad State Wilderness.
Park Ranger Carrasco was out patrolling prior to their motor vehicle accident and upon discovering of them due to our vehicle's computer related GPS and no radio communication simultaneously was he discovered.
Sergio Carrasco was born in San Diego, on Feburary 2nd, 1999, Alongside himself, his family was heavily involved in law enforcement sector. Sergio wasn't always fond of the law enforcement sector upon growing up; And upon his exit on high school he immediately sought to pursue degrees in psychology. Eventually arriving in Los Santos from San Diego, Sergio's mindset changed and sought entry into the Los Santos' Police Department.
Sergio eventually found himself becoming a law enforcement officer through the San Andreas State Parks and paired with his childhood of being outdoorsy; Really began enjoying himself. Sergio was well beloved amongst his fellow rangers, and those of the local Grand Senora area where he soon found himself living as well.
Sergio was an outstanding ranger of the San Andreas State Parks and was just beginning training as Probationary Handler towards our K9 Division. Paired with Sergio's experience prior and knowledge in the medical field; His bearing, integrity and selfless service saved a multitude of lives during his two year tour with the San Andreas Park Rangers
Sergio is survived by his father.
The entire San Andreas State Parks continues to express their deepest in regards to Sergio's passing. We offer prayer, and support for both friends and loved ones.
